After several months of planning our destination DIY wedding my fiancé and I were getting nowhere! Our wedding was about three months away when we decided to call Sweet Peach Planning. Within our FIRST meeting with Megan we felt so relieved! She was able to go through her monthly timeline, estimate the amount of food and drinks, and able to fully write our wedding day and rehearsal dinner agenda within our first meeting with her. Talk about a breath of fresh air.

 

We started off with the Gold Package and very soon after decided to go with the Platinum Package due to how much we were impressed with her and her work ethic. She literally took on so much without stepping on any of our toes. She was able to be patient while listening and at the same time direct and to the point. She communicated with us every step of the way. Our wedding turned out to be more than we could've ever dreamed possible and we absolutely could not have done it without Megan and the YLH staff. Getting to know Megan was truly a treat and I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Hiring Megan of Sweet Peach Planning was one of the best things I could have done in preparing for our big day! Having Megan on my side for the "planning", the "2 weeks before" and most importantly the "day of " was like having a whole team of super duper pro bridesmaids all rolled into one! She spent a lot of her personal time helping me plan from the moment we signed the agreement. Meeting me at many a coffee shops, taking my many calls, coming with me to meet vendors, coming up with solutions to almost everyone of my wedding mishaps and problems that arose. Even spending a whole day with me crafting, finalizing details and creating our seating chart. I can go on and on, with all of the great service's she has to offer. The one that meant the most to me was how Megan and her team take the time to take care of me during the entire process, checking on my stress and just being there to talk was exactly what this bride needed!

Megan is amazing! I hired Megan for my April wedding for "Week-Of Coordination," and I wish I'd enlisted her help for EVERYTHING! Initially, I looked at the prospect of hiring a wedding planner as just another expense. In hindsight, I think hiring Megan for the full planning package would have saved me a ton of money and a ton of stress! The only vendor I asked her to help me with was a florist, and she had amazing, creative ideas for saving money and ended up getting me a great deal within my little budget. I was so impressed!Aside from the financial benefits, Megan was a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and my insta-problem solver! There were a few things during the planning process that were causing me a lot of stress [like finding an affordable florist and keeping my mom in the moment and stress-free on my big day]. When I opened up to Megan and expressed my concerns, she was quick to ease my worries and dry my tears! Mid-panic attack, I reached out to her about my florist concerns... Within hours, she had reached out to a more affordable florist and had a new estimate & proposal ready for my review. In addition to that, she enlisted the help of her friends/colleagues to help with the floral arrangement of my centerpieces to help reduce the cost as well. [And they did a BEAUTIFUL job!]During the week of my wedding, she was well-prepared to deal with all my vendors, bridal party, and family so that I could have a relaxed, fun wedding week without any stress. On the big day, she was in contact with my mom and maid-of-honor (who was in charge of my cell phone) to handle any issues that arose, leaving me in the dark so that I would not have to deal with any of the chaos. She was also spectacular at dealing with my not-so-awesome vendors that were either rude, flaky, or poor communicators. She had the patience of a saint! Megan is sweet, professional, organized, prepared, creative, compassionate, and the best confidant you can have while planning your wedding. She makes you feel like family and like you are at the very top of her priority list. The best decision you can make while wedding planning is to hire Megan and to entrust the success of your big day to Sweet Peach Planning.

Megan is amazing!! We hired her for our June 19th wedding. As a full time mom of a toddler and college student I barely had time to sleep, let alone plan a wedding. Every single detail was executed flawlessly. She made the planning process as easy for me as possible. She's beyond sweet and endlessly helpful with anything you might need. She's absolutely meticulous in everything she does and as a Army Veteran, I know that it's very difficult to find  someone that is as squared away as Megan combined with being sweet, intelligent and pleasant to work with  ...and out of sheer luck...I found her.

 

Another thing that absolutely made the experience with her even more amazing was that my toddler was of course, always with me during our meetings and Megan never made me feel that my daughter was a nuisance for her  or in her way. She included her in the whole process and was very understanding of the fact that there is very little to be done to keep a toddler still or content for very long lol. We absolutely loved her. There's no better person to hire for your wedding or any occasion that you might be planning ... as she will work her hardest to make that day as beautiful & special as she made ours.

My then fiancé' and I hired Megan to be our wedding planner for our June 27th wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. From the beginning we realized that we knew absolutely nothing about the wedding process and that we needed a wedding fairy godmother that could come and save us from our stresses and lack of knowledge so that we could enjoy these once in a lifetime experiences. Along came Megan and our prayers were instantly answered. Megan and I immediately bonded. She was sweet, easy going, organized, and all around perfect. 

We had a 16 month engagement which seems like a lifetime but there was a lot to be done and I had no idea where to even start. Megan broke down everything into a monthly checklist so that I wouldn't feel overwhelmed. At the time I was working and going to school to finish up my bachelors in early childhood education. Phillip also has his full time job which requires him to work long hours. There were just never enough hours in the day but Megan so amazingly never let the wedding planning process feel stressful or like a burden. She called around to different vendors getting us the best quotes and affordable prices and she kept everything so organized. She was always available to be a shoulder to cry on during my freak out moments and always knew how to carry out my vision. Did I mention that she did ALL of this while living across the country from me? If that doesn't tell you something I do not know what will. 

 

The day of our wedding finally came and it could not have been anymore perfect. Megan ran around all day getting family and our wedding party together for pictures and toasts, calming me down before I walked down the isle, and even pouring water into guest's glasses when they were empty. I am not exaggerating when I say she truly does it all. It also rained on my wedding day which is every bride's nightmare but Megan had a back up plan for everything and the celebration went on without a hitch. I could go on and on about how great this woman is. She truly is the wedding fairy godmother. Phillip and I could not be more thankful to have met her and to have worked with her. Your wedding day should be perfect and Megan makes sure to see that it isn't anything less than amazing!
